Hey everyone, I just hit the big 5-0, and let me tell you, it’s got me thinking. I’m at this point where I’m looking at my life and going, “You know what? It’s time for a change.”
So here’s the deal: I want to slow down and actually enjoy life. Sounds simple, right? But it’s kinda huge when you think about it.
You know how life keeps moving and suddenly you’re not into the same stuff anymore? Well, I’m there. Now, I’m all about getting back to the things that make me smile. I’m talking about art and music, playing sports – the fun stuff. I also want to chat about being a good leader and how we can help others. Oh, and hanging out with the people who make life awesome? Yeah, that’s high on the list too.
I’ve been all about work for so long, and now I’m switching gears to focus on what makes me happy. I figured I’d share this journey with you all. Maybe it’ll help someone else who’s thinking, “Is this all there is?” I’ll be real about how tough it is to break those old habits and start new ones. If my story helps someone else figure things out, that’d be pretty cool.
Here’s something to chew on: Sometimes, just looking at things differently can change everything.
So, come along for the ride as I figure out this whole “second act” thing. Let’s see what life’s really about when you’re not just going through the motions. Who knows? Maybe it’ll get you thinking about what you really want, too.
My goal is to help others make the transitions needed to pursue doing what they love vs doing what is expected of them. Fear and judgment keep many people, as well as me, from pursuing our own goals and dreams. I am now starting down this path and want to share my journey and the resources that have helped me along the way. From starting a website, quitting the corporate rat race to pursue things I enjoy, quitting drinking, quitting energy drinks, adjusting my diet, and changing habits that will allow me to live a healthier, more purpose-filled life. I do not come from the perspective of a person who is well-versed and knows how to get this done on my own. I want to share the roadblocks and the obstacles I face and how I have overcome them so others may not need to.
Services will be insights into change through words of encouragement.
